The Aspire team are:
Mary Wintershausen
Mary was one of the implementation leads for three of
the pilot sites. She has an outstanding record of
achievement in strategic development, senior management and
consultancy in central and local government. Mary is a
highly experienced trainer, carrying out numerous courses
in a variety of subject areas. She is conversant in the
SFIA / Professionalism agendas and developed some of the
Professionalism courses offered by Socitm Learning. She
spoke at the Socitm 2008 conference and was part of the
Aspire product launch.
Mark Wheatley
Mark, a SFIA accredited consultant was also one of the
implementation leads for three of the pilot sites and the
non-Aspire sites. Mark’s expertise focuses on strategic
development and review, systems implementation, ICT service
delivery, coaching and mentoring, and major change
management. He has a long history of training and
mentoring. He is the Socitm Learning Manager and is the
lead in building the programme of courses around the
Professionalism agenda. He was also part of the Aspire
product launch and remains involved with ongoing Aspire
implementations.
Vikki Wide
Vikki, Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) accredited
and a Prince 2 practitioner is Project Director for the
pilot. She worked with the partnership to ensure all
parties were coordinated in their approach and reported
into the pilot board of governance. Vikki has a strong
technical background and the business awareness to devise
ICT strategies, together with the soft skills needed to
achieve buy-in. She will continue to work with the Aspire
team supporting the team to ensure quality implementations
of Aspire throughout the public sector.
Dave Rowson
Dave is Head of Projects and Resources at Leeds City
Council’s Corporate ICT services. Dave was the Local
Government IT Profession Project Manager for the Aspire
pilot and was responsible for driving the project forward
alongside Socitm ensuring the service would be of benefit
across the public sector. Dave, is Managing Successful
Programmes (MSP) accredited, has a background in HR and
workforce planning as well as over 15 years experience in
ICT management and business change within the public sector
and has brought this expertise to enable Aspire to be a
success.
Joanne Miklo
Jo is the Resources Manager for Leeds City Council’s
Corporate ICT Services. Jo was the Implementation Lead for
Aspire and ICT Professionalism within Leeds City Council’s
ICT Services, and led on the internal culture change.
Involved with Aspire from its infancy, Jo has facilitated
the project from the technical development through to brand
implementation. Additionally Jo has spoken at a number of
national conferences on the Leeds Aspire experience and has
brought this valuable knowledge into Aspire, making it a
complete package.
Rob Kelly
Rob is Assistant Performance Manager for Leeds City
Council’s Corporate ICT Services. Rob has played a key role
in the implementation of Aspire within Leeds and has become
a product expert for the package, which includes providing
training and support to Aspire sites. Rob will continue to
work on the development of Aspire and will manage the
training and support of the Aspire product for sites once
the software has been implemented.
